As humans, we like to portray perfection like we have it all together. But the truth is we hurt when we get touched in a way that signifies our perfect world is over. Some hurts get in like a splinter, and if we don’t eradicate them from our life we don’t ever move forward. Then the enemy uses those splinter to get control of our lives, causing us to question ourselves, question God and question our investment. Drama is not always the devil, sometimes it is a divine disruption. The chaos in our lives is us not being willing to trust the whispers of God in our life. In the message today, Nick helps to show us that in order to become the people we are supposed to be, we need to listen to the whispers of God and have the courage to remove the splinters.
